Media and Review Outreach
Outreach works best when each pitch reaches someone who genuinely covers books like yours. We research contacts carefully and write pitches suited to each outlet.
The problem this addresses
Mass mailing to generic lists wastes goodwill and rarely produces coverage.
Authors often do not know which reviewers and outlets cover their genre, or how to approach them professionally.
Who it suits
- Authors with a finished book and a clear position who are ready for outreach.
- Nonfiction authors with expertise that can support articles or commentary.
- Authors who are comfortable with interviews, and those who would prefer written coverage only.
What is included
- Research into reviewers, bloggers, journalists, and newsletters relevant to your book
- Pitch writing tailored to outlet type
- Press materials, such as a one-page book summary and author biography
- Pitching and follow-up by email
- Optional podcast pitching, only if you would like to take part in interviews
What you receive
- An approved outreach list before any pitch is sent
- Copies of pitch templates and press materials
- A campaign report listing who was contacted and the responses received
What we need from you
Materials and permissions we ask for before the work starts.
- Approval of the outreach list and pitch wording
- Review copies in digital or print form, as agreed
- Your availability and preferences for interviews, if podcast pitching is included

Questions about media and review outreach
Do I have to appear on podcasts?
No. Podcast pitching is optional. If you prefer not to give interviews, we focus on reviews, articles, and written features.
Can you guarantee coverage?
No. Reviewers and editors make independent decisions. We focus on relevant, well-prepared pitches and report every response honestly.
Who pays for printed review copies?
Printing and postage for review copies are separate from the service fee and are only incurred with your written approval.
Discuss media and review outreach for your book
Send a short inquiry by email. We will reply with questions or an outline of how we could help, and any work begins only after you approve a written proposal.
